The Open

Each year starting in late February or early March, the CrossFit season begins.  This is what we all train for all year.  It is our "season."  Since 2011, CrossFit has begun its search for the fittest humans on earth with the Open.  It has grown into many different brackets including a teens division, masters divisions and a scaled option.  They've created a competition that everyone can compete in and see all the gainz from the previous year of training.

Regionals

Regionals is the second stage of the quest to find the fittest.  The top scorers from each region will travel to the regional venue to compete in a weekend long competition.  All the regionals are broadcast on the CrossFit Games website.

The CrossFit Games

The Games is the final stage of the overall CrossFit season.  This is where the best of the best earn their way to compete on the big stage.

Offseason

For the rest of us who don't make it to the Games or Regionals, our Offseason begins when the Open ends.  The programming at the 307 is planned to prepare you for your next season, whether it's the Open or beyond.  We have strength cycles, gymnastic cycles and always general fitness preparedness.  Spend this time working on weaknesses, refining technique and building strength.  If you are consistent in your training and your outside the gym habits, you will be ready for your next season.
